Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed TV show The Office, for which she received the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by An Ensemble Comedy. Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, however, she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna's mom Anne used to perform in church plays in her younger years which sparked an enthusiasm for theatre. Fischer is an actress who has theater training. In Off-Broadway's play Reasons to Be Happy written by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was the lead.
