Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 in an Olympic occasion. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci when she was six. Comaneci would go on to become the Romanian gymnastics coach. Comaneci competed for the first time at the national junior championships and finished 13th. The following year she was crowned champion. The first time she competed in an international meet that was an preolympics junior event for countries in the Communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975, she was named the all-around Junior Champion. When she made her debut as a senior in the year 1975, she defeated Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. She was the five-time European champion, winning four gold medals and one silver. The first female to do the reverse double salo of the parallel bar that was uneven in the event she won American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her path into the world of entertainment began in her teens, when she began doing figure skating alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol began her journey into the entertainment industry as a teenager. She began her career when she joined her sister Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling spectacle of entertainment. Ice Capades featured performances of skating on ice with actors.
